Executive Bios

John Andrews, President

John Andrews has over 30 years experience in the business services, communications, technology, and consumer products industries. John is an innovative leader, having overseen the inception, growth and acquisition of many successful companies. As SVP of Global Services for Hypercom, John led the acquisition of an Australian services business with annual revenues of US$16 million. He coordinated the sale of Excell Agent Services to an industry competitor that closed in late 2004. John also leveraged a $2 million customer care contract with Apple Computer into $40 million a year business with 1,500 seats in three centers across the Southwest.

As CEO and principal of iClient Global LLC, John provides Management Advisory services to emerging companies in the Southwestern United States. Client industries include software, technology, IT services, contact management and customer care, business and professional services.

Andrews resides in Tempe, Arizona with his wife Mary Ann and two daughters. Among his professional affiliations John is a 12-year member of the Myers Management CEO FORUM and member of the Arizona Chapter National Association of Corporate Directors. His education includes a B.S. degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and numerous executive education events including the Stanford Financial Management Program.

Cathy Collins, Chief Operating Officer

Collins, Chief Operating Officer for QwikBids, has nearly 30 years industry experience including business processes, customer interaction and technology development. Cathy’s experiences include conceptualizing, and launching simple to complex software in a variety of application environments.

As a member of the management team for ACT! Content Management Platform, Cathy oversaw the development of the QA engineering team. At ACT! Cathy was also responsible for creating and maintaining the processes, procedures, standards and training material for the entire QA department.

Cathy’s other executive roles include acting as Senior Project Manager for Dr. Rick Nevins and Associates, Senior Quality Assurance Manager for Best Software CRM and Senior Development Specialist for Anderson Consulting.

Cathy is a member of the National Association of Women Business owners, the Arizona Small Business Association and the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce. She lives in Scottsdale with her husband, and spends her free time traveling and winning ladies poker tournaments.

Dave Collins, Chief Technology Officer

Dave Collins, QwikBids CTO, has over 20 years of business and technology management experience in IT roles within various industries. Before founding QwikBids, Dave was a VP of Product Development for Sage Software where he ledthe R&D organization that rebuilt the ACT! Contact Management Software product after acquisition from Symantec. Prior to that position, Dave built and led the R&D group for the award winning SalesLogix CRM software product.

Dave’s experience with startup companies includes creating the technology visions and implementation for two national companies, Verisma Systems, a medical records processing company and Wise Systems, a health wellness company.

Dave lives in Scottsdale with his wife and enjoys online gaming, music, playing guitar and is a seven-time amateur poker champion.
